Dr Fiolna qualified as a doctor in 2011 from the Medical University of Warsaw. She started her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Holly Family Hospital in Warsaw, Poland. In January 2014 she was granted a placement as a fellow at Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital in London established by Professor Kypros Nicolaides. She obtained certificates in nuchal, anomaly and fetal growth scans as well as transvaginal cervical assessment. She worked in a high risk pregnancy unit and ran Preterm Birth, Hypertension, Fetal Growth Restriction and Multiple Pregnancy Clinics. She was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Fetal Medicine in September 2016.
Dr Fiolna currently works as a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King’s College Hospital. She gained her clinical experience working in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford and William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist as well as the Fetal Medicine Foundation. Dr Fiolna is an author of 10 scientific publications and is constantly working on her academic portfolio. She is a PhD student at Canterbury Christ Church University.
Dr Fiolna offers services including complex antenatal and postnatal care. This includes ultrasound assessment in all trimesters of pregnancy, preconception counselling, early pregnancy scan and advice, cervical smear tests including HPV testing, treatment of suspected or recurrent infections, advice regarding contraception including intrauterine device insertion, family planning and general gynaecological examination and advice.
